A UK FCDO sponsored organization wanted to identify key sectors in Pakistan with substantial potential for carbon emission reduction and shortlist bankable carbon offset projects that could be developed for international trading
Solution
A six-month long engagement to undertake research and analyze voluntary carbon market project methodologies to identify projects that could be developed and scaled in Pakistan and develop policy recommendations for the Government to align Pakistan’s carbon markets framework with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement on climate change
