Rida Ahmad

Rida Ahmad is a seasoned sustainability consultant with five years of experience in climate finance, sustainable development, carbon markets, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked with prestigious organizations such as the Green Climate Fund (GCF), DAI, and the World Bank to drive impactful climate resilience projects. Additionally, her strong STEM foundation and international experience on the Doha Metro Project have honed her ability to manage complex, cross-sectoral initiatives.

Rida specializes in proposal development for climate mitigation projects, project management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting aligned with international standards. Her expertise also extends to carbon credit project development in agriculture and forestry. She is currently enhancing her technical skills through training in TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures), ISSB (International Sustainability Standards Board), and GHG Accounting to meet emerging sustainability and ESG reporting standards.

Rida holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MicroMasters in Sustainable Energy from the University of Queensland.
